Music Leader

Purpose:

To lead music for all weekly worship services and holidays.

Reporting Relationship:

Reports to the Staff Pastor Parish Relations Committee; day-to-day supervisory reporting relationship to the Pastor.

Part Time

Responsibilities:

Facilitate Music for Worship

• Plan, schedule and coordinate choir, solo and congregational music with the pastor for weekly worship services and holidays.

• Lead the weekly Praise Band.

• Accompany all regular worship services and holidays.

• Coordinate and lead choir and special music on special occasions.

• Be available for rehearsal.

• Capability to record and lead music virtually.

Other Support Duties

• Adhere to Berry Memorial UMC policies

Helpful Skills:

• Ability to edit and upload music.

• Knowledge of copyright rules and regulations.

• Knowledge of audiovisual technology.
