Welcome

We are committed to the transformation of the world, as a connectional church.  Berry's people put body and soul into our partnerships for greater justice where we spread food, direct administration, assist the poor, and share our smiles and tender love.  Child welfare, healthcare, economic abundance, racial, LGBT, and immigrant relations are brought to greater justice through the Northern Illinois United Methodist conference of Southsiders, suburbanites, farmers, and ourselves, as the hungry, vicitmized, people of the streets of the world and Chicago. Our community is fed by the connection with seminary-educated clergy and lay congregants expanding our spiritual skills together, illuminating the divinity we seek to inhabit.  The disciplines of prayer, journaling, meditation and worship through song, play, and nature are appreciated at Berry, as are you.
